The edges of the glass are nicely rounded off so no risk of scratches from sharp edges etc.

They do not come with a plastic frame to assist with alignment

I was not really concerned about this as whilst frames can help get the alignment right i found that providing i got one corner and one edge correct the rest just fell into place

There is about a 12mm gap between the edge of the screen protector and the frame of the ipad

The screen saver seemed to stick down well and certainly the scrolling and touch sensivitity of the ipad seems fine too

The harder screen protectors like these are likely to cope with impact better as whilst they may crack they would spread the impact better to avoid the actual ipad screen being damaged

Despite lots of damage to screen savers mainly on phones i have never damaged the actual screen unless i did not have a screen protector on it
