The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is that the cover flap is a bit on the thin side and curls back so that the top and bottom of my kindle screen are exposed

Its not terribly bad as i manage it by counter bending this when too much screen is showing

Id like for the cover to no accidentally wake the device so often when closed but most of these cases have that same problem

Closing it turns off the kindle

Closing the cover takes it back to the homepage opening it wakes it up ready to swipe
