My gold and tortoise shell frames with brown lenses never inhibited my reading or view which people with script bifocals will attest to the annoyance

The case is sturdy and extremely protective but its enormous and wont fit into any sort of pocket so you end up carrying them bare in a shirt pocket

Remember youre looking throughsunglasses so obviously your vision is effected differently then a clear lens readerstyle pair of glasses

The readers are ok like all sunglasses there low and you have to hold your sunglasses up if youre trying to read a paper
