The book is heavily steeped in ingame lore which is very refreshing considering how wonky the lore can be and how well it worked in the series

Anyone who doesnt play would be lost in the dust which makes me feel like macpherson could have and should have had more personal liberties in adapting the story to make it a little bit different from the game
