Camera isn't fantastic but the sound quality from music and film is really good - and remember this isn't an expensive device.

Symptoms of failure the os just seems to freeze after its turned on menu screen comes up portrait wont rotate and none of the icons work it should go to the lock screen

Amazon have done a decent job of their customised android interface but it is an older android version

To get the best out of it id recommend downloading google play store as this gives access to many more apps over the amazon store

I would like a better night mode as the screen can be a bit harsh unless you apply the black theme to the kindle reader
