Pros

The screen is the perfect size and when people ask me if its an ipad and i tell them that it is a kindle they are shocked. My eldest granddaughter has the same product and the battery life is wonderful. Case seems sturdy.

Inch and 10 inch versions available. My grandkids 3 and 4 love these. I know small kid option has the pink, but we need the big kid amazon kids now.

Parental controls are awesome and easy to manage. With the adult profile there is a pin so that the kids can't switch over. I believe you can even do so through an app, which i have not had the time to use yet.

Cons

Amazon doesn’t believe in in transferring data. I was warned not to trust amazon's app restrictions, should have listened. The free 1 year amazon kids subscription says i need to be in the united states to use and now the offer has disappeared.

The images of the thumbnails never really load. Nevermind that the content is already downloaded to the device.
