Pros

This is an essential item for anyone that is an outdoorsman. Bought for emergency preparedness and camping. Made great gifts for my coworkers at the office.

Works good. Works like a champ. Highly recommend.

High quality, with instant spark shower. Makes copious sparks, just kind of small and a bit hard to manipulate because of it. Use it all the time for lighting a alcohol stove, or starting fires.

Cons

The rod itself is tiny, about 1. It looks like about a glue stick height. Since it's smaller it's harder to get a really good shower of sparks. Garbage, seriously junk.
