This tube is rather pricy, but so is manuka honey in general. Very good item to have in your medicine cabinet.
Allantoin is a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin. This salve actually have a bit more use than burns and cuts.

On my dry, cracked skin, it absorbs well and the watery-gel seems to soften and soothe my skin and prevent more splitting.
I feel that this water-gel creates a nice seal around the affected area and reduces the inflammation and my urge to exacerbate the wound.
