Pros & Cons
Pros
The birds seem to love this and have been at the feeder for a long time. Our hummies love this so much, our feeder is empty in less than 12 hours. Our hummingbird feeders are always crowded since we changed to this nectar.
Cons
Store-bought nectar is a waste of money. They still want to cash in on selling what is basically sugar and water at exorbitant prices. Food coloring has no impact on the attractiveness of a feeder.
Highlights
Quality
Easy to mix, just pour in the 16 ox bottle, add 32 ounces of water.
Used this before and it's easy to mix and they all seem to love it.
This feeder was 1 in full from the top, they've drank over 6oz in 3 days!
We used to use something that needed to be refrigerated and then got cloudy after a while and had to be thrown away.
Price
But this, although a little costly, they love!
The hummingbirds like it, but it is a bit pricey --> the 4 stars
I do wish it was a bit cheaper though to be honest with you.
Convenient, but more expensive than making my own.
Competitiveness
We've tried other brands and literally the birds stopped coming to our feeder so we went back to this brand and they came back again.
I tried another brand and the humming birds would not touch it.
