I hung it from a shepherds hook thats 6 feet off the ground and located it about 25 feet from the oriole feeder and the hummingbirds found it immediately

It doesnt have a builtin ant moat we havent had any ants on our feeders so this is not an issue for us or bee guards

Thats why i decided to order a feeder without the traditional bee guards but the bees have been very bad lately

Theyre not aggressive toward us humans but they intimidate the hummingbirds and at times make it impossible for them to drink

Another drawback of this feeder applies to all feeders of this type its impossible to add or remove nectar without emptyingcleaning the feeder
