Pros & Cons
Pros
This feeder works well for both orioles and hummingbirds. Attracts all different type of birds not only humming birds. Right now we have an overabundance of hummingbirds so these feeders a perfect.
It holds a substantial amount of nectar and is easy to refill and clean. The recommended procedure is to rinse feeders with a dilute bleach/water solution (10% bleach, 90% water) the nectar ratio is less sweet, roughly 6:1 water to sugar.
The weather dome is a nice accessory too! It is amazing.
Cons
The company that made my hummingbird feeder doesn't make oriole feeders. Waste of nectar and leaves the area sticky. It has no bee guards.
Highlights
Quality
The company was very nice to work with the issue.
The hummingbirds love it so i’m satisfied !
My alternative is to hold the feeder in one hand while filling the nectar with the other.
