I use it with a good quality mic with an effect pedal inline to have a nice variable delayecho for my flute the builtin echo is ok voice speaking but has no adjustments on the variables such as number of repeats or length of time between repeats

With a mic even a good mic the pa function might be ok for things like giving a speech or a toast in a small private room of a restaurant as for something like a bridal party rehearsal dinner or it might be ok for a classroom or small conference room but it will not cut it for an outdoor event or a large room

It is a “mic priority” which when turned on “open” will temporarily mute the music input whenever the mic is actually being used
