Pros & Cons
Pros
Bought this for my grandson. The 3yo stands on the farm to turn the light on in our playroom. Good for the 1-2 age. It's a toy that kids can play with independently from the time they are young toddlers.
The barn is just as sturdy as the original barn i had as a kid. It has all the animal sounds plus all the separate stalls and fences and even a silo with a slide/* for the hay! It inspires creativity and the sounds it makes are cute!
She loves sliding the hicken and making the music play so she can dance to it. She really enjoys hearing the clip of old macdonald that plays when the rooster slides in a certain direction and dances along. It keeps her entertained for quite sometime.... Read More
Fisher price toys are always dependable! It continues to entertain my child daily.
Only drawback is that on the silo, there isn't a way to latch the door up so the child can easily pull out the animals from the top. Gramma especially loves the silo, where everything can be put away so that grownups don't hurt themselves tripping ove... Read More
Cons
The sounds are ok, but i would give those up in a heartbeat for the quality and interactive, imaginative ways the older versions could be played with. Fisher-price toys are junk these days. The rooster slides across the front of the barn to send the o... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Fisher price quality is the best and it certainly proves that in this product.
He will happlily sit and play with the toy by himself allowing me some much needed house work time.
But i can't knock the product on my daughter's focal interest.
We raised three children and we were always happy with the fisher-price toys we purchased.
Price
But the price was $10 higher at target and was out of my budget.
Fisher price doesn't make them like they used to, but my daughter doesn't know any different.
Competitiveness
As with all fisher-price toys this one is very well made.
I think this is a great learning toy for young children and would higly recommend.
My daughter received this toy as a hand-me-down about 4 months ago and does not stop playing with it.

It plays a bit of i think the song is old macdonald and makes animal sounds in response to the toddlers pushing buttons and opening and shutting doors and sliding panels which develops fine motor skills and when they get to the putting small things into bigger things stage its endlessly engaging
