To avoid shrinkage, hand-wash mattress pad & do not put in the dryer.
You can spend much more, but you won't get much more bang for your dollar than with this fisher-price bassinet.

For sleeping i found that i wasnt fully comfortable so we are not using this for night time even though it is technically a bassinet

It comes folded in the box when delivered and all you have to do is unfold it and lock it into position
