When not backpacking, i keep it on my keychain which means i always have it available. Best removed from lanyard and put in the pocket until off the motorized transport unit. It truly clicks together so i don't worry about losing one piece.

It is small and handy but it is easily misplaced. While lighter in weight, it is still well balanced. One improvement for this backpacker fisher pen over the bullet space pen is that the shape of the pen is more comfortable to hold.

While the cap snaps on tightly, the body unscrews and can detach. The pen comes unscrewed, the bottom half falls off and the refill falls out.

Poor product. It legit says that. Very poorly made. For a $20 pen i'm disappointed it was so easy to lose.

While it looks superficially the same, the build quality is now terrible.
