After watching youtube and seeing magnet fishing my hubby wanted to try it out. It's a fun hobby, and i'm buying more magnets right now. Aside from being fun, this is a good kit to have by the lagoon for when things inevitably fall in.

Cons

The wording on the label has grammar as if a kindergartner wrote it (indicative of poor craftmanship). Cheap rope. Cheap gloves. Cheap carabiners. Only thing it worth is for screw,nuts and bolt. Do not recommend.

I doubt this has the pull power of 1000 lbs (even divided 500 lbs per side) talk about misrepresentation. Won't pick up 5 lbs, much less 1000 lbs. Slips off of 50#.

It got stuck twice an i had to work very hard to get it out without breaking the rope.

My grandson stuck it to the iron anvil in the garage and we could not get it off!
