Pros

This mat is sturdy without being oppressively heavy. It's just amazing all the products available to make your sewing projects a breeze!

It is dual-sided with identical patterns on both sides, one white one black.

Double sided use and excellent for trimming model parts and decals. Measurement marks makes cutting easier and quicker. This mat is used for model building, so it's subjected to sharp knives and razor saws.

Cons

Just discovered the grid on this mat is not accurate. The board itself is so pungent that it began to permeate all throughout my living space, even after sealing it back into the amazon box. The mat is larger than 24 x 36 inches.

The mat looks like just what i wanted, but it had a very strong odor that did not dissipate. It smells very strongly like skunk! The smell is overwhelming.

Very disappointed in this product. Which makes this mat useless for most projects. Really disappointed. Total waste of money.
