The press has a comfortable grip and applies even pressure to the soil, resulting in dense and well-formed blocks.
No transplant shock they will barely realize they were moved!

You will save far more $$$ on trays and pods if you plan on gardening for a long time.
Honestly, this is a great product for the price.
At 17$ the price is right for me to consider getting another for the kids to help out.

I used a seed starting mix from the grocery store, added plenty of water and packed it in with my hands.
Packed it in the block, pushed it out and done.
