Highlights
Quality
Light weight, long handle, perfect cutting wedge.
After 20 years with the old school plastic handle and 10 lb head that needs re-glueing every year this fiskar maul is a step up.
This axe made light work of it all and put that old splitting axe to shame!
The shape of the blade is a wedge vs the old school concave which requres way more driving force despite being heavier.
Price
Best camp hatchet for the money imo
If they would not be so expensive i would buy a really old fashioned wood ax instead.
Competitiveness
I wouldn’t entertain another brand after using fiskers.
