I had the same problem but all you have to do it make sure your kids account is on your kids phone and make sure you have the fit bit app on theirs set up and ready if you do then you should have no problem setting everything up

As youll need to set up a new profile on your mobile phone and in my own case i needed to wipe an old unused phone and load only my sons profile to it it wouldnt allow me to do this on my own mobile device as the error message tells you that for privacy reasons they can be the only profile on the device connected to the watch

Considering this is a childs watch i dont understand the thought process when developing the software to only work this way and especially from a well known brand too
