I can say that the large does have to slip over the whole wrist luckily it fits me but its real close to not fitting

I would suspect that color may rub off the painted bands over time but my black band shows no signs of wear after more than two weeks

Love the band looks great and easy on off feature works and looks great very light and easy to adjust
