It seems to be faulty. This makes my fitbit much harder to use for tracking diet, calories etc. It regularly is massively inaccurate not only at counting lengths but also the calories it says i use in a day is highly inaccurate.

Great so far, bought this to replace mt versa 3 that suddenly stopped working after a couple of years.
Love my versa 4 but prefer the metallic strap from amazon.
