Overall an easy experience. It's fantastic and does everything it claims! The website is great. The fitbit is awesome! For those of you who've taken the time to read the whole rambling review, i thank you for your patience and i hope it was helpful.

If you play stalker at some of the public profiles of people who have been doing it for years, they are obsessive about it! It is definitely a good tool to gauge how active you are throughout each day.

This is why i wanted a pedometer. I like the altimeter, and its measurement of stairs climbed. Not a deal breaker for me but something to keep in mind for anyone needing to be right on the money with their distance calculations.

You get a badge for your first 10,000 and 15,000 step days. I map all of my long distance runs with mapmyrun.

Cons

When it arrived, i immediately rec'd an error message saying it was not responding. Wrote customer support about the problem (case 81030), got an automated reply about upgrading the firmware, nothing still. My advice to fitbit is to get their act toge... Read More
