Pros & Cons
Pros
The rubberized platform keeps objects on top of the unit from sliding. It fits on fitdesk recumbent bike and is much better then the original desk.
The height is adjustable and the frame is sturdy. Very ergonomically designed. Awesome height adjustability. Plenty tall enough with out the extenders though.
Highlights
Quality
I am quite pleased with this product.
It's a bit expensive, but a very good product.
I was excited about the fitdesk bike but they have done it again by making the fitdesk tabletop standing desk.
You might want to measure your workstation, and compare with the fitdesk before you buy.
Competitiveness
I've been a fitdesk customer since the beginning, and i'm thrilled with this addition.
I bought a fitdesk for work based on my wife's research and recommendation (she already bought one for herself).

It would also be easy to use to stand and read a book or to write notes in a notebook but not with just a piece of paper and nothing underneath

Can accommodate a very large book such as a textbook but would not accommodate a laptop and book at the same time
