These are perfect, only wish they fully covered the toes, other than that we can blast leg kicks while training with no worry of injury.

The padding is more than sufficient, it has a heel strap that works very well, and the shinguards stay in place during sparring.

In my opinion, venom is not protecting at all and very thin.

They have solid straps and i was kicking the hell out of the pads with no slip or movement.

Price

These look exactly like the venom elite shin guards that sell for $95-$100.

Packaging/appearance

I originally gave this item 4 stars for the packaging, but i changed it to 5 stars because it's great for the price.

One shinguard was packaged right, the other was bent out of shape.

The ankle/top of foot part was very wrinkled and a bit uncomfortable, because the way it was package and taped.

Competitiveness

I have used venom and phoenix before as well, and these are so much better.
