I had no major difficulty putting them together however the print in the assembly diagrams is so tiny that it was a big time waster for me trying to make out which pieces to use where

There were 4 extra screws not mentioned anywhere in the instructions

I initially tried the longer set as per the teeny tiny diagram but that left an inch of screw sticking out on the wall side of the headboard that would inevitably gouge the wall at some point
