Hibed twin xl metal platform bed, 14 inches (amazon). The mattress pad is from amazon and very nice. It is firmly padded, with no gaps or puckering in the fabric.

    It is stapled onto the back over the black backing so is not a headboard i recommend using if the back is going to be viewed
