There was no smell the screws came with the chair and no you do not need a drill to assemble the back part of this chair

Shipping is fast but the most horrible packing i have ever seen

A piece of the rack was sticking out of the box and was bent on delivery

There were no pre drilled holes in the back of the chair and me being a person that is not very handy with stuff like that i did not even own one

I was afraid to order it at first because others have said that the cushion was too firm but after comparing it to other chairs in this price range it came out far ahead of the competition
