The only weird thing to me is that the bottom drawer is too wide for my hanging file folders by just bout 1 enough that they dont work in the usual fronttoback hanging way that i have used in old filing cabinets

Instead there is a bracket that is installed in the drawer which is exactly the correct size so that the folders can hang left to right between the bracket and the back of the drawer see photo
