Update: really comfy, great with the mattress.

Got the king tribeca version (with the footboard) the slats took the longest but still simple.

Was able to put it up two days ago in my new place.
I'd say its a good purchase besides the packaging.

I wanted to just return it and ask for a different one or just get a refund but after finishing setting it up i didnt want to deal with building another one plus trying to send it back and deal with all that hassle

I think this bed is beautiful but putting it together was awful the directions weren’t clear and the bolts and screws weren’t labeled neither was the bed pieces

One of the brackets on the side rails was bent

Luckily none of the soft parts of the bed were damaged and everything was there

When i got my box it was damaged badly and piecesscrews were missing

Amazon refunded me partially and it all worked out ok and i was able to get parts of what i was missing
