Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to set up, easy to calibrate, and easy to connect to wifi. The touchscreen is a little small, but i don't use it that often. You can also lcd print with this printer.
This printer is a bit pricey compared to other beginner printers. It prints pla and pla+ without breaking a sweat although i haven't tried abs yet. I prefer simplify 3d over flashprint anyway since it gives me more control over all the parameters, so ... Read More
The only issue i have with this machine is that it doesn't hold the standard 1kg spools of filament. The simple solution is to print a * (spool holder) and thingiverse has a design for a filament feeding port that you can install in the side.
The finderlite is still my #1 choice. If you need a heated bed and enclosed work area, go with the adventurer3/dreamer. For a beginner it’s great! I got through the hurdles, it works great!
Cons
Cons - loud knocking sound from the filament feed stepper, poor instruction manual, proprietary filament is outrageously expensive. Constantly printing into the bed and destroying the bed surface.
Highlights
Quality
I have only run with pla filament, and i am happy with the results.
It works great and the quality is great for the money.
Update 5/8/2019: after printing various objects for several weeks now, i am very pleased with the ease of use of this printer.
I plan to update my comment after more experience with the printer, but so far so good.
Price
This was definitely worth the price, easy to set up and print right away.
Shipping
The first prints have been fast and sharp.
Packaging/appearance
Printing practically right out of the box.
It works right out of the box.
The printer did come ready to print right out of the box.
To get setup is stupid easy, it literally comes out of the box gets a firmware update then works.
Competitiveness
My primary workhorses are a makerbot replicator 5th edition and snapmaker 2, which i still love for a number of reasons.
I wanted to leave a good review because the printer just never let me down and has been more reliable than my ultimaker s5 at work.
I have already written two five-star reviews about the machine.
There were language problems so i turned to flashforge usa and discovered that they have a support group not fifty miles from m... Read More
