The whole thing is polyester woven material so its like wrapping yourself in a parachute before you sleep and i can tell you that you get very warm doing that in all but the coldest climates as it like this material doesnt breathe at all

In fact we were going to keep it except that it has a fabric seam around the edges which makes it not as soft and cuddly against your face

Im sure that seam will help for longevity especially with numerous washes but we ended up choosing a different blanket of the same material that didnt have a fabric edge
