The foil sheet has a wider diameter than the pail and therefore leaves gaps around the edge. As a result, you end up with a hardened rubber ring that is unusable. Even after putting 3 or 4 coats of flex paste on both are still leaking.

Flex seal worked great, very happy with the product and the customer service is outstanding.
Very impressed with the quality of this.
It is exactly what i wanted but 1/2 of the product inside thebppastic container was dried up.
Fortunately it was a small repair so l cut the tube in half to access the soft product inside.
Price
I should have paid 1/2 the price.
Competitiveness
Waste of money, should’ve bought the tubes instead.

Once it starts to dry it is difficult to smooth out the edges for good cosmetic appearence because it is a thick paste coming out of the caulking gun

The product is like molasses bonds seals surfaces very well dries to what appears as an impenetrable rubbery compound

Product is great and used it many times however this time it was old stock and had gone hard at both ends making it useless in a caulking gun
