Pros

My only gripe is the wood case is a bit clunky to store them in. I just wish the handles were a bit fatter.

Sharp out of the box, easy to sharpen when needed. Using the strop on them brings it back to a razor edge very easily. The box they come in is very durable.

I cannot find any negativity with this tool set. Wonderful to work with as a novice carver. Great combination of blades. Only problem is that they did not include a number 7 sweep gouge.

Cons

Products are so sub-par, i question whether they are refurbed/retooled or outright counterfeit. It's almost as if an inexperienced owner tried to sharpen them, and got too aggressive.

The tools are made of high carbon steel and they maintain an edge well.

Rather they are high quality tools that would allow a serious beginner to have every basic tool they initially need to start carving.

The tool handled have rotated and are preventing the lid from sliding.

The case it came in is perfect for storage to keep away from little kids.

They came out the box razor sharp.

The box they come in is very durable.

The wooden box that contain the set is 8" x 11 1/2".

I also bought the slip strop sharpener from flexcut and they keep the tools in perfect shape.
