Pros

This retractable leash is very nice. I walk a dog with no eyes and through the years the click stop and gentle tug of the retraction has been key to me guiding him. The locking mechanism is different and will take a little getting used to.

Leash is very durable. Appears sturdy like it won't run or snag. We use the scuffed one when we’re doing something messy or it’s raining.

Just replaced our old one, still working after eight years, but looking a little ragged. They are all in excellent working order but my one is finally showing its age on the ribbon leash. Regardless, the new one is an incredible upgrade.

Cons

Just keeps going out and not retracting. Today is our 3rd time up since receiving and 5th time using, snapped with 5 mins of the wall. There's no way to contact the seller either.

I question if the quality of flexi has diminished over the years. It's a shame because i really like the leash besides this. Do not waste your money.

The edges are razor thin and the injury is/was frightful. It's a bad situation when you've got the dog on a 25 foot leash, with no way to reel in the extra! It is dangerous!

He’s yanked and jerked on this leash so hard and so often while running around that i was sure it was going to snap and break.

I have probably used the last one for 5 years and finally i dropped it and it stopped retracting.

Price

I found this 25 footer and it was a great deal cost wise so i bought two for our crazy woman 50 lb wolf looking pup rescue.

Only complaint, the 1st leash was 30 bucks, the 2nd leash was 72 bucks.

That's how good a deal it was.

We waited 40 forevers for it to come from the uk.

We see some now with next-day delivery.

Competitiveness

Flexi is the only brand that we will use with our three dogs.

They have "improved" them in the last couple years, but still sell the "classic" ones like this.

We have multiple flexi "brand" dog leashes.

So, go flexi is my recommendation always, look for some deals like this one was around half or more less than the stores.
