I always get flexi retractable leashes for my dog. The retraction and locking mechanism work great.

I like the original design's control button better than the newer design.

Cons

Leash would also get stuck during recoil. If you have a dog that excitedly runs around people or roughhouses with other dogs, then this leash is potentially painful and dangerous. Manufacturer does not honor their warranty.

Product is well made, but my dog chewed non-corded portion of the leash. If my dog hadn't chewed it, i'm sure it would have lasted. We're unable to de-tangle the knot because it's stuck inside the cartridge.
