Pros

At nighttime it’s great for the cars to see he is actually on a lead too. If the lead gets wet, it winds onto the drum but is not trapped inside a casing. It is worth pacing it out as it may be less than some people imagine.

The locking mechanism is simple and intuitive. The clip which attaches to the collar is firm. When people give a bad review for dog chewing it, thats silly.

First impression is very good the handle is nicer and feels more stable in the hand. Strong and robust. Felt sturdy and safe. It is very sturdy and strong.

Our pooch is 15kg and can set off like a rocket, and the tape has held up well so far. Used for my 10kg parson terrier.



Cons

The loop that covers the seam near the collar clip slowly cuts into the lead until it snaps.

I have a 17wk old doberman and did expect this to last a lot longer. It is so slight and flimsy that with a bigger dog this simply doesn't ever feel safe. Snapped after less than 3 months use with a vizsla puppy.

Solid and dies the job bit dissapointed with the lead itself only had it a month and it is starting to frey in several places.
