Pros

Fine german engineering and craftsmanship all around. This model feels sturdier and better in my hand. They are very durable and work with ease.

Cord is much lighter than the 16' cord. Love the low tension on the cord, so my dog hardly knows he is on a leash. She now has the room to run full speed all over the place & it’s fun watching what a good time she has zig zagging.

Both work great, and the tape one has a nice strong retraction spring.

Fan of the flexi line and will forever be a faithful customer. This one, by far, has the best lock button setup of any retractable i have owned.

Cons

Flexi brand only guarantees the leash mechanism. The first 6 inches or so is a woven cloth material, while the remaining part of the leash is wire. This leash is anything but ergonomic and balanced in the hand.

Quality

We were not comfortable letting him run loose with the other “ranch dogs,” so we got this 26’ retractable leash.

Excellent product can't say anything bad about it would purchase again and highly recommend.

So, i use the tape one mainly with the cord as a back up.
