The handle is also to small to hold comfortably. Also when the dog pulls the lead wretches alot. Have the large version which is great but heavy and cumbersome to grip.
Product defective. Won't be buying from this brand again. Would not trust it. Returned the item.

This new version makes a noise as the lead naturally extends and contracts when the dog is on the lead
