Pros & Cons
Pros
Shih tzu/bijon. The value is awesome on the smaller size to learn with a puppy. My dog goes to work with me (i drive a golf cart), and he will run alongside me when he wants to and ride along when he tires out. Lets him stop to smell the roses while i... Read More
Easy to use and luv the bight neon yellow color. Its functionality and added features outweigh the occasional retraction issue. It holds the poop bags close at hand if you buy the attachment (which you should - and stop leaving your dog's poo on my la... Read More
Cons
The length is what really bothers me though. It's a bad situation when you've got the dog on a 25 foot leash, with no way to reel in the extra. The flexi fabric leash is flimsy. Did not stand up to a little bit of puppy chewing.
Highlights
Quality
Sturdy and reliable, can take tons of hits and drops without losing its functionality.
- it rewinds smoothly and rarely (if ever) fails to do so- is incredibly durable and easy to clean (i just use a clorox wipe ev... Read More
Gone are the leashes that lock up and cannot be retracted.
Has never tangled or slipped the lock.
Price
Imagine my joy when walmart had a version for $7.
$25 for the big one is about half what they used to be.
Shipping
Update: new leash arrived a couple days after submitting return.
It came in the mail and fells just as smooth and strong as the 1st one.
Packaging/appearance
Not sure if it got packed this way.
But this new order came with an empty box.
Competitiveness
The flexi leash has far out performed it's counterparts and it is now my favorite gift item to my clients.
My current flexi leash has lasted through four dogs - all over 50 lbs, all pit bulls - and i will never choose a different brand.
Obviously it's better for open spaces that aren't busy with cars and passerby.
I owned a tug leash very similar to this before hand but wanted something a bit more lightweight.
