I only used the case itself after cleaning i sat it on to of the watch face and held it in place with one finger while i pulled the soft plastic straps around to the back

First i removed both bands cleaned the face with a screen cloth that i had here to remove fingerprints then next i used the sticky tape kit that came with it and removed any remaining lint
