Small circle freeze packs are the perfect size for him to hold on areas where he flares up. One side has a soft fuzzy protective barrier so if it’s too cold, use that side. Can use one and keep the other in the freezer to swap out when needed. I have ... Read More

Vriksasana sacroiliac hip belt. This ice pack molds easily around my knee. The included velcro straps are perfect for keeping the ice pack in place.

Highly endorse this product. It does better than others but doesn't excel in my opinion. This item was recommended by a friend and also at pt.

Cons

The strap is useless and just flings right off. These are pointless. I have several ice packs from this brand but these really miss the mark. It's relatively easy to use, but doesn't get cold enough, or retain the cold long enough to be effective.

It stays cold for about 10 minutes and then there’s condensation. There's not enough of the freezing gel inside the pack. This deficit renders a significantly smaller area that actually creates the icy cold relief.

Time will tell but my money is on flexikold reusable gel large ice pack with straps.

Had total knee replacement resulting in need for frequent cold packing to help pain and reduce swelling.
