The desk goes high enough for me at 6ft 1 to stand comfortably. Sure, there is a groove where the join in front-to-back in the middle. But honestly it's not that bad even without.

In fact more thought has gone into the engineering for self assembly than to the manual which could have done with being clearer

There are 3 niggles i have with the desk

First is that the top comes in 2 pieces so there’s a crack down the middle of the desk when assembled
