During the hours of darkness it was sometimes a bit too much and i looked for a floorstanding lamp that was dimmable and also could provide indirect lighting

It doesnt work with smart plugssockets as once turned off from the socket if you turn the socket on the lamp stays off untill you touch the touch button

Switching the plug off and on again will require to press the onoff button on the lamp as it is a touch button rather than a switch
