Pros
It's quite stout, grips the carpet, isn't inclined to distort. This is strong enough.

Strong carpet's floor mat with a non-slipping feature.
It's very sturdy, doesn't sink into the carpet at all and doesn't move.
It does not bend at all although my chair leans and applies all the weight pressure only on one of the wheels.
It is heavy duty and lets the chair glide easily, but is clear enough to let the carpet show through.
Price
It was also more expensive 8 years ago, so i’m saving money this time (bonus!
This is a good value carpet protector and is highly recommended.
Price: good value at around £30 and i would pay up to £40 for it.
Pricey, but cheaper than a new carpet.

To my relief, the mat came flat-packed (can't see how any of these mats could be rolled!

I bought two of these mats after reading a number of other reviews for similar products.
I chose the cleartex because of the favorable reviews & good price.

Its not used during the day much but gets a fair bit of use evenings and weekends

Downside it does move slightly with the pile of the carpet and after 18 months its maybe not quite a clear as it was when new

Upside the carpet underneath is as good as new and the mat is showing no signs of cracks or other damage indeed it looks like it might still be good for another 18 months at least

I purchased this product 9 months ago and was initially concerned about its durability as some others have mentioned in their reviews
