Pros
It's very sturdy. Great bang for your buck. I have a low pile carpet and it did initially take time to flatten. This one protects the new carpet in the mailroom.
Cons
The instructions say it will flatten out over the first few days. It's been over a month and it's still warped. It also is not for flooring, carpet only.

It did not take long for it to flatten out after i unrolled it and the plastic smell dissipated after a few days

It is a bit thin where my chair will make divots in the mat but i cant image any plastic mat holding out

Thus mat has spikes on the bottom i looked for this specifically for carpets so i cant image they would work on hardwood floorsthe mat has finally cracked but after four years im not too bothered
