This chairmat from floortex is a thick, firm, high quality mat.
Mat does not slip on my hardwood floor and the edges are beveled so you cant cut yourself like some of the other mats.
It is so hard that i would be surprised if you could alter its shape without heat, even keeping it rolled up for a week.
Price
Yes it is a bit expensive, but it is great quality and lets you continue to enjoy all of your wood floor instead of covering it up

The short story is i wish they didn't ship it rolled.
Took few weeks to arrive but they told me it would take that long.

My office has short utility carpet so i was concerned my chair wouldnt roll that well or the mat would crack from dimpling but it actually works better then i hoped

I had ordered a couple other chairmats from a different company and sent them back right away because they were flimsy and i could tell they would not be able to stand up to much abuse
