Pros & Cons
Pros
This device is a great way to measure your power loads for many applications. It's been plugged into record energy use by our refrigerator for about 3 weeks. Yes, that reset is really a button to be pushed by a ball point pen.
Device is very rugged and well made. Very handy device for mounting in a visible location such as over the kitchen counter.
Highlights
Quality
The device is very rugged and well made.
Very nice addition for testing power and current drain on almost anything.
Everything barely takes any power at all now.
This time starts after each reset whether a device is running or not.
Price
For the price this unit is great.
Helps me budget out how much power really using.
A new fridge would have cost me around $900, using 40% the power, so the savings of $95 each yer would take almost 10 years to pay back.
So the math worked out to 1053 kw-hr (annually) x $0.
Shipping
The device recorded 5 days, 23 hours, and 20 minutes; and it used a total of 17.
Competitiveness
Also you can hook it up to other appliances to see how much power you're using when their on / left on.
