Pros

The modified retainer holds the bulb just fine. Must be careful with installing bulbs. They have a captive customer, so one must buy their brand at their price.

Cons

It plugs in but it is several inches shorter than the original bulbs. Will be contacting flowtron these lights are too expensive to not work. Too much hassle to send back.

Flowtron products are garbage. I have no idea why this is so, but am nevertheless irked. There is better and more affordable items made in china.

Not even 6 months of complete use. Couple months go by n it stops zapping bugs. Looking elsewhere for cheaper bug zapper.

Don't forget the starters when replacing bulbs in the flowtron.

This is an exact replacement and works perfectly in the bk-80d.

I was concerned that i was going to break it trying to get it out of the packaging even using scissors and knife blade to cut the plastic.

The bulb retainer on the flowtron 80w zapper is a pain.
