Pros & Cons
Pros
The bug zapper is great. I use scotch indoor double-sided mounting squares 1' x 1' to make sure the attractants stay seated under the zapper. Bought two zappers one for each side of lot next to bug infested pond.
I plan on ordering another one since they came down in price. Decided to go with this mc9000 over the diplomat due to the more reasonable price. Hopefully it lasts as long as my other flowtrons.
It has 3 old school transformers for the lights, and another larger transformer for the electric grid. It also has bulb starters. I have it on a timer and it lights up of the whole backyard.

We are able to eat on our patio at sunset because of this well-made and well-functioning product.
I saw the video of the guy with the leaf blower and was sold.
Price
This flowtron is many times more powerful than the bk40d or bk80d models.
this flowtron mc9000 is one of my favorite products.
Competitiveness
Although it is a max 120w unit, my watt meter measured a very reasonable 84w power draw at rest.
Well made in comparison to the much cheaper models -- which it should be given the large increase in price.
For several season i used cheaper replacement options and sprayed with a fogger, and we still got bit.
If you want a good quality, heavy duty bug light you can see a half mile away, this ones it.
